Pathfinder Society (PS) is an organized play campaign for Pathfinder RPG (PRPG). Considered by many to be the true successor to D&D 3.5. Pathfinder RPG is comprehensive update of the OGL 3.5 ruleset. Like PRPG, Pathfinder Society is published and managed by Paizo.
As an organized play campaign, Pathfinder Society provides one the opportunity to create a character who can travel from home games, to game days to conventions and fit right in to any game in the campaign. To play Pathfinder Society, you will need to create an account at paizo.com and get a Pathfinder Society number. Don't worry. Your account and all of your characters are completely free.
